He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Bird Cook; his stepfather John Paul Cook; his father Harry H. McBrayer Sr.; and his wife Jerry L. McBrayer. He is survived by: his children, Gary McBrayer, Sherry McBrayer, Debbie Williams and Sandi Miles (Dana); and his grandchildren, Emerson McBrayer, Kelli Siracuse, Evan Kegley, Victoria Convest (Matt) and Andrea Gates. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
