He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Tawney and Opal Tawney; his former wife Betty Tawney; his daughter Janet Tawney; his brother Jack Tawney; and his daughter-in-law Carol Tawney.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Tawney; his children, Debbie Bradley (Fred) and Jeffrey Tawney (Christie Young); his grandchildren, Angela, Jennifer (Greg Knotts) and Adam; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Bradley and Oliver; his stepchildren, Judy Copley, Mike Hurley, Betsy Lovejoy, Mary Colston and Bruce Hurley; and his siblings, Kenneth Tawney and LaMoine King. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
