He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Lou and James Davis Sr.; and his siblings, Davis Jr. (late Mary Katherine Davis), William Collridge Davis (Jack), Loretta Fullen (late Glen Fullen) and Thelmas Jean Smoot Miller (late Thomas Howard Miller).
He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Ann Saunders (late John Saunders).
