He is survived by: his wife Annette Harris Phillips; his mother Joyce Ann Phillips; his son Edgar James "EJ" Phillips (Lynnette Starr "Sissy" Phillips); his granddaughter Leilani DeLaine Phillips; and his brother James Nathaniel "Jamie" Phillips, Jr. (Traci). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
