He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanie; his parents, Doyle Garrett and Madeline Garrett; and his brother Don Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Elkins (Stephen), Terry Thomas, Alice King and Dallas "Chip" Garrett; and his grandchildren, Chad Elkins (Caitlin), Jay Elkins (Amanda), Emily Fenech (PJ), Chris Hunt (Crystal), April Konieczny, Shannon Taylor, Miranda Weldon (Patrick), Morgan Garrett, Valerie Bailey (Jacob), Trey King (Brittany) and Jacob King. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
