He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Oma Bryant Thompson; and his sister Betty White. He is survived by: his wife Audra Jones Thompson of Dunbar, WV; his child Charles Edward Thompson, III; his wife Delma Grace of Augusta, GA; his sisters, Ruth Gladwell, Maye Staley and Myrtle Fitzwater; and also, Larry Michael Thompson (LaVanna) of Grassy Meadows, Nancy Thompson Sheppard (Chris) of Charleston, WV and David Thompson (Ann) of Rupert, WV.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to: Kanawha Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd., West, Charleston, WV 25387 in memory of Charles Thompson.
