It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Napier of Dunbar, West Virginia, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on October 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tim Napier and Cornelia "Neal" Gilkerson Napier; her grandparents, Braxton and Martha Browning Gilkerson; her aunts and uncles, Arbutus Borski, Nina Hill, Glenn and Junior Gilkerson; and her brothers-in-law, Rodney Hunt and Gary Evans.
She is survived by: her daughter Shayla Layne (Brett) of Dunbar, WV; her sisters, Betty Jean Evans of Huntington, WV and Darlene Hunt of Lavalette, WV; her grandchildren, Donte Napier, Jayden McNeely and Anari McNeely; her nieces, Amanda Hunt-Thompson and Rachel Hunt; and her nephew Timothy James Queen.
