She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Cleo Hickman and Esta Balch Hickman Wood; her stepfather Kenneth Wood; and her brother Elben E. Hickman. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Wood Carney of Dunbar; her children, Lance Carney (Kathy Young) of Scott Depot and Lisa B. Carney of Dunbar; her grandchildren, Ryan H. Carney of Scott Depot and Jillian P. Carney of Scott Depot; and her nephew Michael Hickman of Dunbar.
