She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse James and Sallie Mae Birdsong; her siblings, Richard Moore, Sr., Rosa Lee Moore, Velma Lu James and Mary E. Belcher; and her grandson Dominique Dogan.

She is survived by: her children, Charlie Dogan, Jr., Lulina Ann Gayman, Tammy Marie Watts, Veronica Angel James-Whitestone (Glen), April James and Lillie Mae James; her niece Elizabeth Ann James; and her daughter Zina Michelle Watts. She is also survived by 27 grand children, 53 great-grandkids, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
