She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Starcher and Eva Lynch Starcher; her husband James Carrol Hardway; and her siblings, Frankie Perrine, Harold Starcher, Charles Starcher and Doyle Starcher.

She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Hardway (Duke) of Buckhannon, WV and Wayne Hardway (Pokey) of Mt. Zion; and her great-niece Charlotte Helmick. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
