He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Brown; his wife Connie Halstead Brown; and his siblings, Paul Joe Brown and Nancy Frame. He is survived by: his daughter Ressie Phillips (James) of Summersville; his stepdaughters, Lori Cook (David) of Liberty and Misti Silva of Cross Lanes; and his siblings, Tommy Brown (Maria) of Amma, Mary Skidmore (Danny) of Flatwoods and Rachel McClung (Charles) of Dille. He is also survived by four step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
