He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenza Long and Flarnia Lenora Long; his brothers, Luther Long and Chester Long; and his granddaughter Amanda Long.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Long; his children, Michael Long (Pam), Lois Ann Brown (Aaron) and Mary Pederson (Ted); his grandchildren, Melissa Davis, Chase Phelps, Sara Davis, Michelle Long, John Davis and Teddy Pederson; his great grandchildren, Zoie Davis, Meredith Phelps and Olivia Phelps; and his siblings, Marvin Long, Lowell Long, Virginia Wiley and Anna Louis Allman.
