He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Cosner Cooper; his children, Stephanie Cooper Simmons (Jeremy) of Moorefield and Steven H. Cooper, Jr. (Meghan) of Buckhannon; his grandchildren, Alyson, Grace, Thomas Simmons and Logan Cooper; and his sister Doris "Susie" Pigott (Bob) of Ohio.
