It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Alt (Dorcas, West Virginia), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on February 23, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Darl Alt; his son Devin Lee Alt; his grandparents, Leo, Lettie Sites, Louie and Della Alt; and his brother Darren Alt (Joyce) of Dorcas, WV.

He is survived by: his mother Delores Alt Propst (Sites) of Dorcas, WV; his wife Barbara "Bub" Alt (Donaldson); his stepfather Thomas Propst Jr. of Dorcas, WV; his children, Derek Alt (Darice) of Arthur, WV and Danielle Thompson (Andrew) of Dorcas, WV; his grandchildren, Easton Thompson and Kyleigh Thompson; and his sister Regina Whitmore of Boise, ID. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Whispering Winds Cemetery, Dorcas, WV Memorials may be made in memory of Danny to the Alt family, c/o Barbara Alt, 41 Deer Haven Drive, Petersburg, WV 26847 or Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department or Petersburg Athletics Boosters Club.
