It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Johnson of Dingess, West Virginia, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roger Lee Johnson; his grandparents, Paul, Delilah Newsome, Lafahette Johnson and Columbia Stollings; and his uncle Orville Newsome.

He is survived by: his mother Sharon Kaye Johnson (Newsome); his stepson Evan Young; his niece Renee Hensley; his nephew Calvin Hensley; his uncle Carlos Newsome; and his aunts, Margie Parsley, Essie Penny and Paula Runyon.
