She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Baisden and Flora Dingess Baisden; her siblings, Julius Baisden, Ira "Boots" Baisden, Olive Baisden DeWitt, Pansy Baisden Workman, Mary Baisden Kirk and Betty Baisden Branham; her son-in-law John Kirk, Sr.; and her granddaughter Cynthia Kirk.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos David Murphy (Eula) of Lyman, SC, Audie Murphy of Dingess, WV, Dianna Murphy Altizer of Breeden, WV, Peggy Murphy Kirk of Warfield, KY and Joyce Murphy Willison (Jack) of Lancaster, OH; her sister Imogene Baisden Smith of Reynoldsburg, OH.; and her grandchildren, Mia Altizer Martin (Cody), Carla Altizer Burch (Ron), Steven Murphy (Shellie), J. C. Murphy (Veronica), Dionne Murphy, Ariel Murphy, Roxie Murphy Stacy (Brad), John Kirk, Jr., Audrey Murphy Adkins (Jason), Andrea Murphy Perry and Cara Willison Hendrix (Johnny). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
