He is survived by: his children, Jamie Sheppard, Lisa Sheppard, Jimmy Sheppard and James York; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Canterbury of Montana, Randy McNeely, Carlos Tomblin, Maryanne Sheppard, James, Derrick, Christopher, Kimberly, Ashley York, Rocky, Bradley Sheppard, Melvin Jr and Susan York; his brother-in-law Charles Porter; his son-in-law Carlos Tomblin; and his friend Patricia Setser.
