She was predeceased by: her parent Lee Payne; her brothers, Bill Payne of Dingess and Dale Payne of Dingess; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Payne, Elijah Marcum of Dingess and Johnny Spurlock of Dingess.
She is survived by: her parent Mae Vance Payne; her husband Van Quincy Stroud; her sons, Lee Stroud and Van Darrell Stroud (Marcie) of Wayne; her sisters, Mary Marcum of Dingess, Phyllis Deskins (Tom) of Dingess, Daplin Marcum (Fred) of Dingess, Carol Spurlock of Dingess and Gale Messer (Ked) of Dingess; and her granddaughter Telissa Dawn Stroud. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
