He is survived by: his wife Tammie Ooten; his children, Tiffany Gillman of Dingess, Amanda Hall (Dewey) of Readyville, TN, Ashley Lenox (Matthew) of Chapmanville, Charles Jr. Ooten (Anna) of Dingess and Phillip Gillman of Dingess; his siblings, Jewel Mahone of Delbarton, Ellen Crum of Delbarton, Lana Lackey (Thurman) of Dingess, Ralph Ooten of Delbarton and Mike Ooten (Margie) of Mill Creek; his grandchildren, Kynlee Fleming, Olivia Ooten, Aiden Fleming, Jonathan Mathis, Christopher Mathis, Justin Ooten, Yvonna Vance, Misty Fleming and Joe Crum; his close friend Archie Conley; and his mother-in-law Rebecca Fleming.
