It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Josephine Hilling of Dellslow, West Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McDonald and Belle McDonald; her husband Donald "Ray" Hilling; her son Don (Sheila) of Dellslow; and her grandchild Tera Hilling.
She is survived by: her children, Steven M. (Ruth) of Kernersville, NC, Gwen K. Sanford (Lonnie) of Fairmont and Vernon V. (Laura) of Dellslow; and her grandchildren, Melissa Forbes (Micheal), Amy Tennant (Mike Simpkins), Andrea Tennant, Amanda Newman (Joshua), Meagan Gribble (Bryan), Jessica Nicholson (Gene), Logan Hilling (Lovie), Timothy Hilling (Peggy), Andy Hilling (Gloria), Angela Douglas, Steven Hilling and Angela Beck (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nicholson Chapel (1326 Summers School Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
