With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Ooten of Delbarton, West Virginia, who passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ooten and Peggy Ooten (Mahon); his wife Susie Ooten; his siblings, Tommy, Clifford, Jack, Billy Ooten, Oakie Runyon, Opal Brewster, Lucille Evans, Polly Farley and Ruby Lux; his daughter-in-law Mary Lee Ooten (Marcum); and his nephews, Henry Ooten III, William Ooten and Joseph Evans.
He is survived by: his son James Ooten of Delbarton, WV; his grandchildren, Brittany Hope Harmon (Derik Harmon) of Logan, WV and Aric Chance Ooten of Fairmont, WV; his great grandchild Auna Rain Bailey of Amherstdale, WV; and his brother Henry Ooten Jr. (Aileen) of Delbarton, WV. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
