With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Hess of Davisville, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on October 11, 2020 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wilbur Hess and Shirley V. Hammack Hess Mayhugh; and his brother Matthew Mayhugh. He is survived by: his siblings, Mark Mayhugh (Amber) of Washington, WV, Keith Mayhugh of Vienna, Kevin Mayhugh (Pam) of Conway, SC, Carolyn Stephens of Parkersburg and Mary Mace of Parkersburg; and his pet Annie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
