With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alethia Brown Metz of Davisville, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest H. Brown and Eva C. Crown Brown; her husband Charles E. Metz, Sr.; and her siblings, Arthur Brown, Betty Maple, Daphne Sherron and Beryl Camner.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ann Young (Greg) of Belleville, Terry Lee Thorn (Wayne) of Lubeck, Brenda Sue Edwards of Williamstown, Dorraine Wolfe (John) of Parkersburg and Charles E. Metz, Jr. (Renee) of North Carolina; and her brother Dennis Brown (Pam) of Oklahoma. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
