As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyl Crossland and Mary Crossland (Collins); and her siblings, Dixie Lea and Allen. She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Robin Hassinger; her grandson Cole Jones; her siblings, Richard Crossland (Wanda) and Elaine Kackley; and her sister-in-law Sharon Crossland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Home - Davis Chapel (567 Thomas Ave, Davis, WV 26260). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Buena Cemetery.
