He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Manuel and Hallie Pearl Moon (Fulmer); his son Darvin C. Moon; and his siblings, Earl Andrew Moon, Jeannette Steyer, Ralph Manuel Moon, Anna Burrell and Clifford Lloyd Moon.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Moon (Tasker); his children, Bill Moon of Oakland, Hallie Metheny (Joe) of Oakland, Ida Meyers (Jeff) of Oakland, Tammy Moon of Oakland and Albert Moon (Dawn) of Oakland; his daughter-in-law Wendy Moon; his grandchildren, Chelsea Abe (Makoto), Cassie Cogley, Joshua Moon (Nicole) and Karlee Meyers (Aaron Savage); his great grandchildren, Lyla Cogley, Caedon Cogley, Alyssa Cogley, Brayden Moon, Eleanor Abe, Benji DeWitt and Blake Moon; and his brother Luther Moon (Marge).
