It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Burley Nelson (Davis, West Virginia), who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar E. Nelson and Nela C. Nelson (Huffman); his siblings, Rosco, Donald, Roy E. Nelson and Betty Jean Kimble; his son Timothy Nelson; and his sons-in-law, Mike Gorman and Donald Mayor.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lou Nelson (Cooper); his children, Harvey Nelson of Laneville, WV, Gary Nelson, Sr. (Tina), Anthony Nelson, Barbara Mayor and Carolyn Sue Witteman (Tom); his siblings, Billy Joe Nelson of Laneville, WV, Jim Nelson, Mary Smith (Ron), Doris Evans (Juan) and Joanne Huffman (Clyde); his grandchildren, Timothy, Ashley, Gary Jr., Lance, Kevin, Penny, Adam, Michael and Lucas; and his great grandchildren, Jaiden, Aubrey, Malachi, Gabriel, Keira, Kadyan and Aizley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
