He was predeceased by: his parents, Vella Pearl Hamrick Thompson and Egbert Loarn Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Michele Jo Walker Thompson; his children, Will (Keri) of Madison, Beth Burns (Brandon) of Danville and Lori Berry (Cooter) of Danville; and his grandchildren, Grace, Will, Claire (Sophia Thompson), Brooke, Anna, Lauren (Kate Burns), Jace (Taft Berry) and Sarah (Lily Haley).
Due to COVID-19, a private service will be held at Handley Funeral Home on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 2 PM with a graveside service following at Memory Gardens, Madison.
