With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rocky Joe Nelson of Danville, West Virginia, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nelson and Faye Nelson of Wharton; and his father-in-law Robert Pauley. He is survived by: his spouse Teressa Pauley Nelson; his children, Rocky Joe II (Savannah) of Mason and LeAnna Faye Perkins (Dylan) of Mason; his stepsons, Christopher Smith of Hamlin and Blake Smith of Huntington; his grandchildren, Ardella Faye Perkins of Mason, Breanna and Steven Beach of Hamlin; his mother-in-law Madeline Pauley of Danville; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Pauley (Angela) of Kentucky and Crystal Fowler (Bucky) of Danville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
