He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bellomy and Elizabeth Bellomy of Lorado. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Napier Bellomy; his sons, John Bellomy of San Antonio, TX, Gary Dean Bellomy (Brenda) of Man, WV and Christopher Bellomy of Uneeda; and his grandchildren, Berry, Meredith (John Bellomy), Joshua, Jeremiah Bellomy (Gary Dean Bellomy), Misty Angel (Derek Angel) and Kristin North Elkins (Chase Elkins). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Handley Funeral Home- Danville (439 Phipps Ave, Danville, WV 25053). A procession was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (169 Forest Lawn Cemetery Rd, Pecks Mill, WV 25547). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
