He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Opie Halstead and Ada Dolin Halstead; his parents-in-law, Dell and Rubel Cabell; his wife Diana Cabell Halstead; his children, Michael, Kelly Jo Halstead Mills (Steven) of Lake Worth, Florida, Laura Lee Halstead of Foster and Raedeana Halstead Kramer (Kris) of Charleston; his grandsons, Ethan Mills, Daniel Mills and Joe Kramer; and his siblings, Sue Halstead Ball of Athens, Tennessee., Fred Halstead, Betty Halstead Shoemaker, Nora Halstead Bennett and Katherine Halstead.
