He was predeceased by: his son Carvis R. Workman; his parents, Sam Workman and Laura Workman; and his siblings, Gene Workman, Edward Workman, Medsil Workman (PeeDee) and Mildred Harper of Bandytown, WV..

He is survived by: his wife Colleen Garretson Workman; and also Vickie Gray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
