He is survived by: his wife Jewelene Wooten; his children, Lionel Wooten (Tammy) of Phoenix, Theresa Perry (Jack) of Hewett, WV and Jody Wooten (James Cantrell) of Danville, WV; and his grandchildren, Cory Wooten (Melissa), Angie Wooten, Lisa Hood, Gregory Cook, Tiffany Rafferty, Amber Mitchell (Scott), Josh Wooten (Amber), Rachael Prichard (Jonathan) of Hurricane, WV, Jamie Cantrell of Logan, WV and Nancy Teel of Texas. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
