He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Peters and Gaye Peters; his granddaughter Emily Rae; and his sisters, Dorothy Christian, Sue Meadows, Goldie King, Phyllis Pope, Mary Lou Harlow and Jenny Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Ray; his daughter-in-law Debbie Peters of Madison; his grandchildren, Whitney Rae (Jeremy) of Morgantown and Zach Peters of Empire, CO.; and his brother Bill Peters of Dayton, OH..
