He was predeceased by: his father Basil Burns; and his siblings, Brooks Burns (Ina) and Betty Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Drema; his brother William "Bill" Burns (Marilyn) of Beckley; and his siblings-in-law, Sonny Underwood of Crow, WV, Debra Hatcher (Michael Reid) of Beckley, WV and Patsy Sams (Johnny Sams) of Daniels, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their children, and his church family.
