He is survived by: his wife Barbara Harvey Adkins; his children, Donna Duncan (Tommy) of Sophia, Jackie Doolittle (Russ) of Roanoke, Lee Adkins of Daniels, Mark Adkins (Ann) of Daniels and Taylor Adkins (Paul) of Shady Spring; his grandchildren, Kelly Haney of Sophia, Michael Morton of Upper Sandlick, Philip Doolittle of Roanoke, Jason Doolittle (Whitney) of East Bend, NC, John Adkins (Kelsie) of Shady Spring, Jenna Adkins of Daniels and Caroline Adkins of Daniels; his great grandchildren, Madeline, Maggie Jo, Samuel and Preston Lee; his great great grandchildren, Braxton and Tucker; and his brothers, Rev. Lude Adkins, Rev. Leonard Adkins, Coey Adkins of Beckley and Rev. Franklin Adkins of Kelleysville.
