He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sullivan and Opal Neal Sullivan; his former wife Hester "Peggy" Sullivan; his daughter Kay McVey; and his former wife Doris Ann Sullivan.
He is survived by: his husband Papaw; his children, Linda Carr (Gerald) of Cool Ridge, Tim Sullivan (Angel) of Pulaski, VA and Wendy Fariss (Mike) of Lynchburg, VA; and his stepdaughter Rhonda Breen (Mike). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
