She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Allen Brinegar and Lora Amelia Brinegar (Williams); and her husband Hobert Berkley Akers. She is survived by: her children, Allen Akers (Mitzi) of Shady Spring, WV, Barry Akers (Barbara) of Cool Ridge, WV, Kevin Akers of Daniels, WV, Sandra Willis (Frank) of Daniels, WV and Andrea Thomas of Daniels, WV; and her sister Cecilia Gail Martin.
