He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pelphrey and Mary Prichard Pelphrey; his brothers, Robert Earl Pelphrey and Douglas Ray Pelphrey; his brother-in-law Larry Lester; and his nephews, Scott Pelphrey and Craig Pelphrey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah Lester of Shady Spring, Ronald Lee Pelphrey (Renee) of Oceana, Gregory Pelphrey (Lori) of McGraws, James Allen Pelphrey of Shady Spring, Darren Pelphrey (Ruth) of Michigan and Kevin Pelphrey of Beckley.
