He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hughes Sr. and Helen Hughes; his wife Nigel Hughes; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Hughes. He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Hughes of Flat Top and Tate Hughes (Denise) of Beaver; his grandchildren, Jesslyn Darby, Kathryn Hughes, Kennedy McCormick and Sydney Hughes; his great grandchild Van Darby; his brother James "Jimmy" Hughes (Jeanette Hughes); and his girlfriend Terri Callahan.
