Alice Cozart Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Cozart (Daniels, West Virginia), who passed away on May 11, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Morgan and Della Lockhart Morgan Gwinn; her husband Ernest Cozart; her stepfather Ray Gwinn; her siblings, Benny Morgan, William, Tommy, Stevie Gwinn and Betsy Gwinn Pack; and her grandchildren, Justin, Ami Jo Holdren and Joshua Cozart.
She is survived by: her children, Twins, Joey Cozart (Carla), Jimmy Cozart (Donna), Sherry Shawver (Eric) and Rusty Cozart (Jackie); her grandchildren, Timothy Holdren (Ashley), Hanna Funk (George), Andrew Cozart and Elijah Cozart (Kaylee); her great grandchildren, Makinleigh Holdren and Makayla Holdren; her siblings, Patti Jo Miller, Mamie Swiger, Johnnie Gwinn and Jackie Gwinn; and her friend Sherry Pauley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends.
Due to the recent Covid-19 virus, the family has opted for a private service to be held at the Sunset Memorial Gardens on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Reed Green, Jr. officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of Southern West Virginia P. O. Box 1472 Beckley, WV 25802-1472.
