He was predeceased by: his parents, Holland Wyrick and Ruth Akers Wyrick; and his siblings, Helen Dorman Martin, Elizabeth Betty Skaggs, Martha Arch and Weldon Wyrick.
He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Anastasio (Edward); his grandsons, Christian Snuffer and Brandon Snuffer of Beckley; his children, Alysa Payne and Curtis Donathan, Jr. of Lexington, NC; and his close friends, Beatrice Polly Gibson, Joanne Powers Lilly and Lisa Harless-Lizotte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
