He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlyle Toney and Thelma Frye; his sons, Clarence Toney, Jr. and Hassel Toney; his grandsons, Jimmy Toney, Jr. and Jeremy Toney; and his siblings, Linda Crane and James Toney.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Toney; his sister Mary Spriggs of Chicago, IL; his children, Gregory (Jennifer) of Mount Carbon, Michael (Anita) of Maplewood and Patricia Berry (Jennings) of Maplewood; and his caregiver Cari Tompkins. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
