It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Lee Phares of Dailey, West Virginia, born in Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Phares and Rose Cross Phares; and his nephew Adam Arbogast. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Bennett; his children, Patrick Phares of East Dailey, Sean Phares (Ronni) of Mill Creek and Megan Evans (Daniel) of Hurricane; his grandchildren, Emma Rose Phares, Aiden Phares, Avery Phares, Kilian Evans and Atlas Evans; his sister Sandy Arbogast (John); his niece Laura Arbogast; and his nephew Chad Arbogast.
