He is survived by: his parent Zerie Morrison Hughes; his wife Deloris Jean Bird Hughes; his daughter Darlene Davis; his son-in-law Kevin Davis; his sisters, Mary and Marie; and his grandchildren, Stacey Ross, Trista Davis and Steven Davis. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
