Ruby Fulmer Sloan Hope Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025, Ruby Fulmer Sloan Hope of Culloden, West Virginia, born in Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Benson Sloan and Ruby Fulmer Sloan; and her sister Joanna Sloan Kemp. She is survived by: her husband Tyson L. Hope; her children, Willa Hope Farley of Culloden, John Benson Sloan Hope (Kellie) of Culloden and Emily Hope Stigall of Eleanor; her granddaughters, Olivia Hayes (Ian Hope) of Point Pleasant and Georgia (John Tyson); her great grandchildren, Dean Hayes and Parker Hope; and her friend Andrew Rhodes.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (905 Glendale Ave, South Charleston, WV 25303). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Hope's memory to the Hospice of Huntington, 1101 Sixth Avenue, Huntington WV 25701 or The Charleston Light Opera Guild, 411 Tennessee Avenue, Charleston, WV 25301.
