He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Gabfelder; his spouse Patti Sue Anderson Novak of Culloden, WV; his children, Jolene Elizabeth Novak Clark (DeShode) of Charleston, WV, Richard Anthony Novak, II of Lesage, WV and Michael Lyle Bowyer (Hannah) of Lesage, WV; and his grandchildren, Calista Amethyst Novak, Kiona Lynn Novak, DeShode Clark, Jr. and Kassiah Jeanea Clark.
