He was predeceased by: his father John Edens; his daughter Deeann Cunningham; and his siblings, Jane Robertson, Sam Edens, Guy Edens, John L. Edens and Jimmy Edens.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Edens of Culloden; his children, Gary Edens (Frances) of Buffalo and Sheila Maynard (Jeff) of Piperton, TN; and his stepchildren, Lisa Burke (Johnny Lovejoy) of Winfield, Shannon Riddle of Beckley and Bill Riddle of Hurricane. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 Great grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.
