It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Everette Grimmett (Culloden, West Virginia), who passed away on May 20, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Edna Blankenship; his son James Grimmett, Jr. (Kelly) of Culloden; his granddaughter Barbie Spade (Dana) of Hurricane; his great grandchildren, Taylor Grimmett, Austin Nobel, Brody and Levi Spade; his grandson James Grimmett, III (Kayla) of Milton; his great grandchildren, Carter, Kira and Joey Grimmett; his grandson Chris Wilson of Ironton, OH; his stepgrandchildren, Chelsea Carroll of Culloden and Michael Carroll of Hurricane; his siblings, Sue Black of Georgia and William Grimmett of Florida; his former wife Carolyn Luker of Barboursville; his stepson Jamie Luker (Kristina) of North Carolina; and his stepgrandson Cody Luker of Barboursville. He was also cherished by other step-children, step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
