He is survived by: his son Gregory A.; his daughter-in-law Christy Sowards Jr.; his grandchildren, Hayley Walker of Culloden, WV, Mikie of Culloden, WV, Lindsey of Culloden, WV, Xander of Culloden, WV and Troy Sowards of Culloden, WV; his siblings, Alma Cart of Culloden, WV, Gail of Culloden, WV, Philip Scott of Culloden, WV, Steve, Teri Sowards of Milton, WV, Fred of Culloden, WV, Sandy Sowards of Culloden, WV, Henry of Culloden, WV and Israel Umburger of Culloden, WV; his son-in-law Todd Walker; his mother-in-law Diana Persinger; and his brother-in-law Shawn (Joy Persinger). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other family members.
