He is survived by: his daughter Cherie Hobbs (Scott) of Homer, MI; his adoptive son Lee Sturgell (Xiaoyi) of Philadelphia, PA; and his brothers, Jennings Sturgell (Ollie), Harold Lloyd Sturgell (Bertha) of Fort Gay, WV., Sherman Sturgell of Delbarten, WV., Ivan Sturgell (Sharon) of Mansfield, OH., Charles Sturgell of Crum, WV. and Albert Sturgell of Huntington, WV.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
